COMPARE // ARCADS
Arcads pricing, Arcads alternatives and Arcads vs Creatify: what an AI UGC ad really costs
Arcads is an AI video ad generator. You give it a script, it renders a synthetic actor performing that script, and you get a UGC-style clip without hiring anyone or shipping product to a stranger. It is good at that, the actors are convincing enough for paid social, and its customer list runs to mobile app studios and performance agencies buying volume.
What makes it unusual in this category is that it will not tell you what it costs until you have an account. We looked properly, on 25 August 2026: arcads.ai/pricing returns 404, arcads.ai/plans returns 404, the sitemap lists 280 URLs and not one of them is a pricing, plan, cost or billing page, and the header navigation has Features and Industries but no Pricing. The only route in is a promotional banner offering seven days of unlimited generations, which points at a login screen.
That is why every page ranking for this search is a third-party page, and it is why the numbers on them disagree. The better ones are honest about where their figures came from, which is a screenshot of the in-app paywall taken by somebody who signed up. That is real research and we will credit it below rather than pretend we found something they missed. But a price captured behind a signup, on a site currently running a countdown promotion, is not the same object as a published rate card, and it is worth knowing which one you are reading.
The rest of this page is the part nobody publishes: what each of the four main AI UGC video tools actually meters, which of them publishes enough for you to work out the cost of one finished thirty-second ad, and where UGCMarketplace sits, which is not in that race at all. We write briefs and scripts. Arcads renders video. Those are different purchases and we will be clear about it.

Last updated August 2026
Arcads does not publish its prices. We checked arcads.ai on 25 August 2026: /pricing and /plans both return 404, the 280-URL sitemap contains no pricing, plan, cost or billing page, and there is no Pricing link in the navigation. The widely quoted $110 for 10 videos and $220 for 20 videos come from reviewers screenshotting the in-app paywall after creating an account, not from Arcads, so treat them as a reasonable estimate rather than a rate card. Of the five main AI UGC video tools, only Creatify and HeyGen publish enough to compute a cost per finished ad. Creatify at 5 credits per 15 seconds makes a 30-second ad 10 credits, or $3.90 on the $39 Starter plan. HeyGen at 16 credits a minute on an Avatar IV photo look makes the same ad 8 credits, costing about 39 cents on its $29 Creator plan. UGCMarketplace is not an alternative to any of them, because we generate the brief and the scene-by-scene script rather than video. If you want an AI avatar reading a script, buy Arcads or Creatify. You will still need the script.
Arcads is an AI actor and video ad generator: you supply a script and it renders a synthetic presenter performing it, with lip sync, a large actor library and an API for volume. It does not publish pricing anywhere on its public site. UGCMarketplace is not a substitute for that and does not generate video at all. It is the step before it: describe your product and it writes the UGC brief, the scene-by-scene script with the first three seconds written out, the technical spec and a profile of the creator to recruit, free for the first brief and $29 a month after that. Arcads customers need a script too, which is the overlap. Everything else about the two products is different.
Side by side
Arcads vs UGCMarketplace, honestly
A fair look at what each does well, including the things they do that we do not. We write the brief; some of these actually supply the creator.
| What matters | UGCMarketplace | Arcads |
|---|---|---|
| What you are buying | A written UGC brief and a scene-by-scene video script for your product. Words, not footage | Rendered video: an AI actor performing a script you supply, delivered as a file |
| Published pricing | Yes. First brief free with no account, Pro $29 a month, Studio $79 a month, on the pricing page | None. /pricing and /plans both 404, no plan page in the 280-URL sitemap, no Pricing link in the nav |
| How you find out the price | Read it on the site before signing up | Create an account and reach the in-app paywall |
| Widely quoted rate | Not applicable, ours is published | Around $110 a month for 10 videos and $220 for 20, from reviewer screenshots of the paywall, not from Arcads |
| What the plan meters | Briefs and scripts generated | Finished videos, one credit per generated video, on the reported plans |
| Who appears on camera | Nobody. We supply no footage. The brief describes the real creator to recruit | A synthetic AI actor from their library. No real person is filmed |
| Cost of a change | Regenerate the brief or script within your plan. Text is cheap to change | A re-render. Edits consume another video credit, so the cost per usable ad is above the cost per generated ad |
| Free tier | First brief free, no account needed. Free account gives 3 briefs a month, watermarked | A time-limited promotional banner offering 7 days of unlimited generations, with fair use terms applied |
| Disclosure obligations | The brief states the disclosure wording and placement to hand the creator | Synthetic presenters raise their own disclosure questions, which are yours to handle |
| Best for | Briefing a real creator, or writing the script you are about to feed into an AI video tool | High-volume creative testing where a synthetic presenter is acceptable and speed matters most |
| API | No public API | Yes, an AI video API and a lip sync API are both listed as features |
| AI | Google Gemini writes the brief and script. Any filming is done by a real person you hire | The entire output is generated, including the presenter, the voice and the lip sync |
Comparison reflects general, publicly understood positioning. Capabilities change, so check each product for the latest.
In depth
What to know before you switch
How much does Arcads cost?
The honest answer is that Arcads does not say, and you should know that before you weigh any number you read about it.
Here is exactly what we checked on arcads.ai on 25 August 2026. The URL arcads.ai/pricing returns HTTP 404. So does arcads.ai/plans. The site's own sitemap.xml lists 280 URLs, across seven languages, and a case-insensitive search of that list for pricing, plan, cost or billing returns zero results. The header navigation carries Features and Industries and a login button, and no Pricing item. The one commercial call to action on the homepage is a banner reading, in full, "New Seedance 2.5, 7-day unlimited generations in Arcads Studio. Fair use terms apply," next to a countdown and a button labelled Get 7 days unlimited, which links to app.arcads.ai/login.
So the price exists behind a signup. The figures in circulation, and they are consistent across the better third-party pages, are a Starter plan at around $110 a month for 10 videos, a Creator plan at around $220 a month for 20 videos, and a custom-priced Pro tier with API access. At those numbers the unit works out near $11 per generated video.
Credit where it is due: the sources carrying those numbers are not making them up. At least one states plainly that Arcads publishes no pricing page, that every version of the pricing URL 404s, and that the figures come from reviewers who created an account and photographed the in-app paywall. That is good research and it is more transparent than most of this SERP.
The caveat is structural rather than a criticism of anyone. A price that only exists inside an application can be changed for a cohort, a geography or a promotion without a single public page changing, and there is no dated artifact to check it against. This site is running a countdown promotion right now, which is precisely the kind of thing that moves an in-app number. Treat $110 and $220 as a well-sourced estimate of what most people see, budget with a margin above it, and confirm at the paywall before you commit a quarter's creative budget.
| Source | What it states | Where the number came from | How to treat it |
|---|---|---|---|
| arcads.ai (the vendor) | No price of any kind | Not published. /pricing 404, /plans 404, 0 of 280 sitemap URLs | The only authoritative source, and it is silent |
| Third-party pricing pages | Starter $110 for 10 videos, Creator $220 for 20, Pro custom | Screenshots of the in-app paywall after account creation | Well sourced estimate. Verify at the paywall |
| Roundups that cite no source | Various figures, some with percentage discounts attached | Unstated, often copied from each other | Do not budget from these |
Arcads vs Creatify vs MakeUGC vs TopView: what each one publishes
We pulled all four vendors' own pricing pages on 25 August 2026. Three of them publish plan prices. One does not. But the more useful split is not who publishes a number, it is who publishes enough of a number that you can turn it into a cost per finished ad, and there the field narrows to one.
| Vendor | Published plans | What the plan meters | Can you compute cost per finished ad from public info? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arcads | None published | Reported as finished videos, 1 credit per video | No. There is no published price to start from |
| HeyGen | Free, Creator $29 for 600 credits, Pro $49 for 1,000, Business $149 plus $20 a seat for 1,500 | Credits, at a published 3 a minute on Avatar III and 20 a minute on Avatar IV/V | Yes. Both the plan price and the credits-per-minute rate are public |
| Creatify | Free 10 credits, Starter $39 for 100 credits, Pro $99 for 300 credits, Enterprise custom | Credits, at a published rate of 5 credits per 15 seconds of video | Yes. Price, credit allowance and the credit-to-video rate are all public |
| MakeUGC | Start up $59 for 500 credits, Growth $79 for 1,000, Pro $149 for 2,000, plus API Starter $99 for 2,000 and API Pro $299 for 6,000 | Credits, with the credits-per-video rate not stated on the pricing page | No. You get a price and an allowance but not the conversion between them |
| TopView | Pro $29 down to $16 a month annually, Business $75 down to $44, Ultra $150 down to $50, Team $180 down to $56 a seat | Credits, with approximate model generations shown, for example about 240 Seedance 2.0 videos from 960 credits | Partly. The equivalents are model generations, which are clips, not finished ads |
Read the last column before you compare any two prices in the third column, because those four numbers are not measuring the same object. Arcads is reported to meter the finished video. Creatify meters seconds of rendered video. MakeUGC meters a credit whose value it does not define on its pricing page. TopView meters model generations and helpfully tells you roughly how many you get, but a Seedance generation is a short clip, not a thirty-second ad with a hook, a demo and a call to action.
This is the reason a cheap-looking headline price in this category so often is not. Divide TopView's $192 annual Pro plan by its stated 240 video equivalents and you get about eighty cents, which looks like it beats everything else by an order of magnitude. It does not, because you will spend several of those generations assembling one finished ad, and more of them again when the first cut does not work. The same trap runs the other way with MakeUGC: $59 for 500 credits could be excellent or ordinary and the pricing page gives you no way to tell.
Creatify and HeyGen are the two you can budget for from public information alone, and that is worth more than being the cheapest. They are not selling the same thing either: HeyGen's credits are far cheaper per second of avatar, and Creatify's price is buying the ad workflow built around it. We set the two side by side in HeyGen pricing. We take the same view of published pricing across the wider category in UGC platform fees.
What does one finished AI UGC ad actually cost?
Only Creatify publishes every input needed for this calculation, so it is the one we can work through honestly. From its own help documentation, checked 25 August 2026: video ads, avatar videos and AI shorts cost 5 credits per 15 seconds of video, rounded up. Revisions cost 3 credits per 15 seconds, also rounded up, and Pro and higher tiers get free revisions where the script, avatar and voice all stay the same. The Product Video tool on the Aurora model is the same 5 credits per 15 seconds, while Google VEO 3 is a flat 10 credits for a maximum of 8 seconds.
A thirty-second ad is therefore 10 credits. Here is what that comes to on each published plan.
| Creatify plan | Monthly price | Credits | Cost per credit | 30-second ads per month | Cost per 30-second ad |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 10 a month | $0 | 1 | $0 |
| Starter | $39 | 100 a month | $0.39 | 10 | $3.90 |
| Pro | $99 | 300 a month | $0.33 | 30 | $3.30 |
Against the reported Arcads figure of roughly $11 a generated video, Creatify looks about three times cheaper per ad. Do not stop there, because two things in the small print move the comparison in opposite directions and both matter more than the headline gap.
The first is revisions, and it is the reason cost per generated video is the wrong metric in this whole category. On Creatify a thirty-second revision is 6 credits, so a first attempt plus two rounds is 22 credits, about $8.58 on Starter, unless you qualify for the free-revision rule. Arcads is reported to charge a full video credit for any re-render, which is what turns a nominal $11 into a real number well above it. Whichever tool you pick, budget on cost per ad you would actually run, not per ad the model produced.
The second is that none of these figures include the script. Every one of these products takes a script as an input and none of them writes a good one for you as the product. That is not a criticism, it is the boundary of what an AI video renderer is. It is also where we sit: the brief and the scene-by-scene script are the whole of what UGCMarketplace generates, free for the first one and $29 a month for unlimited after that. If you are going to spend $39 or $110 a month rendering video, the script feeding it is not the line item to improvise. We set out what a script needs to contain in UGC script template.
Is UGCMarketplace an Arcads alternative?
No, and it would be easy money for us to imply otherwise, so we will say it plainly. Arcads renders video. We do not render anything. If your requirement is a finished clip with a presenter in it by this afternoon, we cannot meet it and Arcads can.
What we do is the input every one of these tools assumes you already have. Describe your product at the brief generator and you get a UGC brief, a scene-by-scene script with the first three seconds written out as spoken words, the technical spec covering aspect ratio, length and shot types, and a profile of the kind of creator to go and recruit if you want a real person instead of a synthetic one. The first brief is free and needs no account. After that it is $29 a month on Pro or $79 on Studio.
So the two products stack rather than compete, and the stacking is the interesting part. A brand testing creative volume typically wants both: scripts written faster than a copywriter can produce them, and video rendered faster than a creator can film it. Paste our script into Arcads or Creatify and you have removed the two slowest steps in the loop. That is a genuinely good workflow and we would rather describe it accurately than sell you a comparison that does not exist.
There is one real decision underneath all this, and it is not about price. It is whether a synthetic presenter is acceptable for your brand and your category. For a mobile game or a utility app, usually yes, and the volume economics are hard to argue with. For a supplement, a skincare line, a medical or financial product, or anything where a viewer is being asked to believe a person's experience, a synthetic spokesperson is a different proposition legally and reputationally, and the disclosure question is yours to answer rather than the tool's. We went through the legal shape of that in AI UGC testimonials and the law. If the answer is that you need a real person, then you need a brief, and that is the moment we become useful.
Which AI UGC tool should you buy?
There is no single winner here, because the four products are optimized for different constraints. Here is the honest routing, based on what each vendor publishes about itself.
| If your constraint is | Buy | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Budget certainty before you sign up | Creatify | The only one of the four whose public pages let you compute a cost per finished ad |
| Trying the category for nothing first | Creatify free tier | 10 credits a month, stated as up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, with no time limit attached |
| Actor quality and performance-agency volume | Arcads | Its actor library and lip sync are what its customers cite, and it publishes both a video API and a lip sync API |
| High credit allowances and API volume | MakeUGC | 2,000 credits on the $149 Pro plan and 6,000 on the $299 API Pro plan are the largest published allowances of the four |
| Lowest headline price | TopView | $16 a month on annual billing is the cheapest published entry point, with the clip-not-ad caveat above |
| A real creator on camera | None of them | All four render synthetic presenters. You need a brief and a creator, and the brief is what we generate |
One piece of practical advice that applies whichever you choose. Do not run a trial until you have the script ready. The uniform failure mode with these tools is signing up, discovering the render takes ninety seconds, and burning a week's allowance on variations of a script that was never good enough. Seven days of unlimited generations is worth a great deal when you arrive with ten scripts to test and almost nothing when you arrive with an idea.
If you want a fuller view of the wider content-sourcing market, including the marketplaces that book real creators rather than render synthetic ones, we keep a maintained roundup at best UGC platforms.
Why brands pick UGCMarketplace
What a brief generator is good for
The brief written properly
Objective, audience, tone, key messages, must-have and avoid, plus a scene-by-scene short-form script with a hook for the first three seconds. Written by AI in about a minute, and we say so.
We do not supply creators
There is no roster here and no booking. The brief describes the creator to recruit, where to look and how to approach them, and the hiring is yours to do. Saying that plainly beats implying otherwise.
Briefs you own, cheaply
Your first brief is free with no account. Pro is $29 a month and Studio $79, both unlimited with watermark-free downloads, and the briefs are yours to use commercially.
