JoinBrands alternative: write the brief before you hire

JoinBrands publishes its pricing, and it is a subscription-plus-fee model. There is a free pay-as-you-go plan that charges a 15% platform fee on each creator payment, then three paid tiers that lower the fee: Start-up at $99 per month (12% fee, $30 monthly rollover credit), Pro at $299 per month (10% fee, $90 credit), and Max at $499 per month (8% fee, $150 credit). On top of the plan you pay the creators. JoinBrands lists UGC images from about $10 and UGC videos from about $25, with TikTok Shop lives billed around $1 per minute, and it states you acquire unlimited usage rights on the content you buy. So your real cost is the monthly plan plus the creator fees plus the platform percentage, which is why the paid tiers only pay off at higher monthly creator spend.

They solve different problems. JoinBrands is deliberately wide: UGC, affiliate campaigns, influencer collaborations, and product seeding across a very large creator pool, which is useful if you want many collaboration types under one login and are willing to pay the per-payment fee for it.

The paid tiers exist to shrink that 15% down toward 8% and add a small monthly rollover credit, which only makes sense once your monthly creator spend is high enough that the fee saving beats the subscription. For a brand ordering occasionally, the free plan is genuinely the cheapest JoinBrands option; for a brand spending several thousand a month on creators, a paid tier can pay for itself.

Pick JoinBrands if you want one marketplace that spans UGC, affiliate, influencer, and product seeding, if you value a very large self-serve creator pool you browse yourself, or if your volume is high enough that the fee-reducing paid tiers clearly pay off. Those are real strengths and we are not going to talk you out of them.
