Short answer: the US vendors that print a price for Facebook and Instagram ad management charge $750 to $3,000 a month for electrical and other home service contractors, with the ad spend paid to Meta on top. On a $4,000 month of Meta media that makes $4,750 to $7,000 through a vendor. Of the four vendors we read on 24 and 25 October 2026, one prints no fee at all and one prints two different Meta fees on two of its own pages.
Search for electrician marketing agency pricing and you get agency guides with ranges, a UK cost study and "best agency" lists. They tell you what "most electricians" pay and skip the question an owner actually has: what should a quote for my company look like? So we read the vendors' own pricing pages and put the numbers side by side. This is a small sample, four vendors, and we say below which of them name electricians and which only name home services.
A disclosure first. We sell a generator that writes briefs and timed scripts for short video ads, including Facebook ad scripts for electricians. We do not manage ads, sell leads or build websites, so we are in none of the tables. We have an interest in the section on video creative near the end, and we say so there.
How much does an electrician marketing agency cost per month?
It depends on what you are buying, because "electrician marketing" covers paid social, search ads, local SEO and websites, and each is priced on its own meter. These are the Meta ad management prices the four vendors print.
| Vendor | Names electricians | Published Meta ads price | On $4,000 of media | Terms printed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Outdooit | Lists "electrical" among its trades | Pricing page: "Social Media Ads ... $1,000 /mo" plus spend paid directly to Meta. Its contractor Facebook ads page prints $750 a month | $4,750 to $5,000 | Marketing plans have a 6-month initial term, a la carte services a 3-month minimum |
| Built-Right Digital | Home services | Meta $1,999 a month | $5,999 | Month to month, budget paid directly to the platform |
| Hook Agency | No, it names home services, roofing, HVAC and contractors | "Meta Ads $3,000 /mo" as a starting price | $7,000 or more | No contract length printed |
| Clicks Geek | Yes, it has an electrician Facebook ads page | No fee printed | Not published | "Flexible terms", nothing more |
Outdooit's two Meta fees differ by $250 a month. Ask which one your quote is based on before you compare it with anything else.
What do electrical contractors spend on Facebook ads?
Clicks Geek is the only vendor that answers this for electricians, in its own words: "Most electrical contractors we work with spend $4,000-$8,000/month on Facebook Ads", and it recommends a split of 70 to 80% Google Ads and 20 to 30% Facebook. It also says budgets "need a 4-6 week ramp before the cost-per-lead numbers stabilize", and that cost per lead in that window runs 30 to 50% above the eventual target. Hook Agency says most of its clients invest $5,000 to $8,000 a month across search, paid ads and the website.
Put plainly, a fee of $750 to $3,000 sits on top of a media budget that is itself several thousand dollars, and the first month or two will look worse than the fourth. An owner who judges the agency at week three has judged the learning phase, not the ads.
What do electrician SEO and website plans cost?
| Vendor | Item | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Hook Agency | Local SEO | $2,800 a month as a starting price |
| Hook Agency | Pay per click management | $2,000 a month as a starting price, scaling with scope and ad spend |
| Hook Agency | Standard website | $1,000 a month, $12,000 total split into 12 months |
| Outdooit | Local SEO | $2,100 a month |
| Outdooit | Google Ads management | $750 a month plus spend paid to Google |
| Outdooit | Local Service Ads | $400 a month plus the per-lead cost paid to Google |
| Outdooit | Plans | $2,600, $5,500, $7,750 and $11,000 or more a month |
| Built-Right Digital | Google Ads, local SEO and Local Service Ads | $999, $999 and $299 a month |
The spread is wide because the products are different. Local SEO at $2,100 to $2,800 is a retainer for months of work before rankings move. A $299 Local Service Ads fee buys account management for a channel where Google charges you per lead on top.
What does a panel upgrade have to bring in to pay for it?
Clicks Geek prints job values for electricians: emergency calls average $200 to $450, service panel upgrades run $1,800 to $3,500, and whole home rewires $8,000 to $18,000. Those are the vendor's figures, not ours. Take the middle of that range. At a $5,000 all-in month through Outdooit or Built-Right, two panel upgrades at $1,800 or more cover the bill. At $7,000 you need three. The question for any quote is how many booked jobs the vendor will stand behind at your budget, and none of the four prints that.
Questions to ask before you sign
- Ask for the fee as a dollar figure at your real ad budget. A flat $750 and a $3,000 starting price are not comparable until you put your number in.
- Ask which page the price came from. Outdooit prints different Meta fees on different pages of its own site.
- Ask who owns the ad account and the pixel. If the agency runs ads from its own account, ask what you keep when you leave.
- Ask how many new videos you get each month. A plan built on your own footage means you are the production team.
- Ask to see every script and caption before the ad runs. The license number on the ad is yours, and so is any claim about tax credits or monthly payments. The federal panel credit ended for installs after December 31, 2025, and an ad that still promises it is a problem you own.
- Ask for the term in writing. Built-Right Digital prints month to month. Outdooit prints a 6-month initial term on its plans.
Where video creative fits
Here is where we have an interest. Whatever you pay for ad management, the ad still needs a video of a real electrician at a real panel, and that part is cheap to do yourself. A brief and script generator writes that script for $49 a month, with the first brief needing no account. You film it, add your license number and prices, and hand the file to whoever buys your media. If you run the ads yourself, you can turn the same take into a 9:16 and a 4:5 cut and keep the whole fee. If you want software to do the media buying too, an AI media buyer that builds and manages campaigns from a URL and a budget is one route to compare against an agency retainer.
If you run other trades, we did the same exercise for plumbing marketing agencies and HVAC marketing agencies, and the electrician page covers the license number rules and the credits that have ended.
All prices were read on each vendor's own website on 24 and 25 October 2026. Vendors change prices, so check the live page before you sign anything.
