HVAC marketing agency pricing and what HVAC contractors pay per month for Facebook ads, leads and video

Twenty-eight US HVAC marketing vendors read first-party, about ten print a price. Facebook ads management runs $199 to $3,000 a month plus spend, leads start at $24, and one month on $4,000 of media costs about $4,250 to $7,000 through a vendor.

Short answer: the US HVAC marketing vendors that print a price charge $199 to $3,000 a month to run Facebook and Instagram ads, from just under $250 a month (Footbridge Media) for HVAC website, SEO and marketing retainers, and from $24.85 per call or $24 per lead on pay per lead, with ad spend paid on top of every management fee. Of the 28 US vendors we read on 20 October 2026, about ten publish at least one number. Most of the big HVAC agencies and lead marketplaces set the price on a call or inside your account.

Search for HVAC marketing agency pricing and most of what comes back is agency guides and city-by-city "best agency" lists. They quote ranges for "most contractors" and leave out the one thing a shop owner needs: what a quote for their company should look like. So we read the vendors' own pricing pages, the agencies, the lead sellers, the pay per call shops and the software, and put what they print onto one unit: one residential HVAC contractor, one month of Meta ads.

A disclosure first. We sell a generator that writes briefs and timed scripts for short video ads, including HVAC Facebook ad scripts. We do not manage ads, sell leads or build websites, so we are in none of the tables. We have an interest in the section on video creative near the end, and we say so there.

How much does an HVAC marketing agency cost per month?

It depends on which of four things you are buying, because "HVAC marketing" covers all of them and each is priced on a different meter: someone to run your paid social, a retainer that bundles SEO, reviews and ads, leads or calls bought one at a time, or software your office runs. These are the US vendors that print a number on their own site.

VendorWhat it sellsPublished priceTerms printed
Footbridge MediaContractor social ads managementFacebook "$199 Per Month"; Facebook and Instagram "$249 Per Month"; first month $49 as a promotion"No contracts or minimum terms required"; the page does not say whether ad spend is included
Footbridge MediaHVAC website, SEO and reviews plan"$249/Mo", $0 setupNo contract, 90 day money-back guarantee; paid ads not included
OutdooitFacebook ads for contractors"$750 per month management fee""ad spend goes directly to Meta, never marked up"; no contracts
Honest HVAC MarketingLocal SEO plus Facebook ads retainer"Mine runs $1,000 to $3,000 a month"No contract, no setup fee; "Ad spend sits on top and goes straight to Meta"
Ad GeniusFacebook ads for contractors"starting at $2,500/mo" for up to $5,000 of monthly ad spendSetup and contract not stated
Hook AgencyHome services agencyMeta Ads "$3,000 /mo" starting price; PPC from $2,000; local SEO from $2,800Starting prices, ad spend on top
Big Red JellyMarketing plans for small businessesGrow plans from "$1,350/month (billed annually)" up to $13,050 a monthSocial ads listed but not priced separately
Dagmar MarketingHVAC local SEO"$1,500 to $2,300 a month per physical location"No paid ads price
Thrive AgencyGeneral agency, SEO"Starting at $500/month"Month-to-month; no social ads price

Two more print something about cost without a fee of their own. Clicks Geek publishes no management fee and promotes "Zero Upfront Costs" and no lock-in contracts instead. Abstrakt Marketing Group gives only an ad budget guide, "$3,000 to $5,000 per month" for PPC in a mid-sized market.

And these print nothing. HVAC DM says its fee is "1 flat monthly number in your proposal, always separate from ad spend". Blue Corona and Scorpion route you to a consultation. Contractor Gorilla says the cost "will vary project to project". ServiceTitan's Marketing Pro is priced per technician on request. Upfrog and Forward First Media show no fee. WebFX and RYNO blocked our reader, so they are not in the table at all, which is not the same as saying they hide their prices. CI Web Group's tune-up page mentions entry plans "around $600/mo plus a one-time build", but its own blog says it does not run paid advertising, so we left it out of the Meta math below.

What does one month of Facebook ads cost an HVAC company?

Take $4,000 of Meta media for one month. That figure is not ours. Clicks Geek, a US agency for HVAC contractors, writes that "Most HVAC contractors we work with spend $4,000-$8,000/month on Facebook Ads, running alongside a larger Google Ads budget", and $4,000 is the bottom of that range. Smaller shops spend less: Outdooit says most contractors put "$500 to $2,000 a month" into ad spend. Use whichever is closer to your budget and redo the sum. Here is what the published fees add up to at $4,000.

RouteFee at $4,000 of mediaTotal for the monthWho makes the video
Footbridge Media, Facebook and Instagram$249$4,249, if ad spend is billed separatelyNot stated
Outdooit$750$4,750Four ad creatives a month are included
Honest HVAC Marketing$1,000 to $3,000, with local SEO$5,000 to $7,000Not stated
Ad GeniusFrom $2,500From $6,500Not stated
Hook Agency, Meta AdsFrom $3,000From $7,000Not stated
Run it yourself$0$4,000You, your techs or a creator you hire

So one month of Facebook ads through a vendor that prints its fee costs an HVAC contractor about $4,250 to $7,000 at this spend, and the fee is somewhere between 6% and 75% of the media. That spread is the whole argument for asking every vendor to quote at your real budget. A $249 flat fee and a $3,000 starting price are not the same service, and the cheaper one may not include any new creative at all.

How much do HVAC leads cost per lead or per call?

Lead sellers publish more than agencies do, but their numbers are ranges, and the range is wide because a furnace replacement lead and a thermostat question are priced differently.

VendorHow it chargesPublished price
NetworxPay per leadHVAC installation $31 to $94; HVAC service and repair $24 to $47 per lead
Service DirectPay per call or lead, you set the priceAir conditioning and heating $65 to $325; "No Set-Up Fees"
ResultCallsPay per callHVAC "Starting $79.85 Per Call"; the same page says rates "start as low as $24.85 per call"; no setup, monthly or cancellation fee
Google Local Services AdsPay per leadNo figure: prices "vary depending on your location, the job type, the type of lead, or your bidding mode"
Angi and HomeAdvisorPay per leadNo figure: pros pay a fee "for each lead you match to", which varies by job size

Thumbtack and Modernize blocked our reader. The ResultCalls page prints two starting prices without explaining the gap, so ask which applies to your services and area before you compare it with anything.

Is it cheaper to buy HVAC leads or run your own Facebook ads?

For emergency service calls, buying is often simpler, because the homeowner with a dead AC is searching right now and pay per call puts you in front of them without building anything. For replacements, maintenance plans and heat pump installs, your own ads usually win over a full season, because you are reaching homeowners weeks before they would ever search and you are not competing with the two other contractors who bought the same lead.

The honest way to decide is cost per booked job, not cost per lead. A $40 shared lead that books one time in eight costs $320 a job. A $4,750 month of Facebook ads that books twenty replacement estimates and closes six costs about $790 per sale on a job worth many times that. Your numbers will differ. Track them for one season before you switch.

How much does HVAC video for Facebook ads cost?

This is the section we have an interest in. Most vendors above do not price the video separately, and the one that does, Outdooit, includes four ad creatives a month in the $750 fee. If your plan does not include new creative, you are the production team, and the ads will run the same three photos until they stop working.

The video that works in an HVAC feed is cheap to film: your tech, beside a real unit, answering one question a homeowner asked this week, in 20 to 40 seconds. What it needs is a script, because the hook, the timing and the captions decide whether anyone watches, and because a few lines that were fine last year are now wrong. The federal heat pump credit ended for improvements made after December 31, 2025, and an ad that says R-410A is about to be banned overstates the EPA rule.

A brief and script generator writes that script for $49 a month, with the first brief needing no account. You film it, add your prices, offer dates and license number, and run it yourself or hand it to whichever vendor above manages your account. The HVAC Facebook ads page shows the six formats and the state license rules for Florida, Texas and California.

Is $5,000 a month enough for HVAC marketing?

For one residential shop in one metro, it is enough to run Facebook ads properly, with a modest fee and room for new creative. It is not enough to run Facebook, Google Ads, Local Services and SEO at full strength at the same time, and the vendors above say so in their own numbers: Clicks Geek recommends Google take 70 to 80 percent of the paid budget.

Where the money leaks is rarely the fee. It is the homeowner who clicks the tune-up ad at 9 p.m., lands on your site with a question about whether you service their brand, finds nobody to answer it, and books the next company in the feed. A website chatbot that answers questions and takes the booking after hours plugs that gap for a fraction of the ad budget. Fix that before you raise the spend.

Questions to ask before you sign

  • Ask for the fee as a dollar figure at your real ad budget. A flat $249 and a "starting at $3,000" are not comparable until you put your number in.
  • Ask whether leads are exclusive. A lead sold to three contractors is a race, and the price on the page rarely says which kind it is.
  • Ask who owns the ad account and the pixel. If an agency runs ads from its own account, ask what you keep when you leave.
  • Ask how many new videos you get each month. A plan built on your own footage means you are the production team.
  • Ask to see every script and caption before the ad runs. The license number on the ad is yours, and so is the claim about tax credits, refrigerant or monthly payments.
  • Ask for the contract term in writing. Footbridge Media, Outdooit and Honest HVAC Marketing print no contract. Most of the rest set terms on a call.

If you also sell roofing or solar, we did the same exercise for roofing marketing agencies and solar marketing agencies.

All prices were read on each vendor's own website on 20 October 2026. Vendors change prices, so check the live page before you sign anything.
